Mysterious Copper Monolith: Trilat Relic I

Mysterious Copper Monolith: Trilat Relic I

Copper Monolith: Trilat Relic I, by Joe Mross. This eleven-foot-high column was commissioned by the City of Keizer's Keizer Public Arts Commission (KPAC) in 2010 after winning that year's public art competition. This beautiful--and mysterious--sculpture has three sides in embossed and riveted copper, each panel with a different abstract theme awaiting discovery.

The next in the series, Trilat Relic II, was sent to Breckenridge, Colorado, for their "Sculpture On The Blue" public art program.
The next monolith in the series, Trilat Relic II, was sent to Breckenridge, Colorado, for Breckenridge's 2014 Sculpture On The Blue public art program. It is fascinating how similar the mysterious monolith found in November 2020 in Utah is to our designs (see below).
