The delightful Summer Pond repoussé in copper was commissioned by a client for a home kitchen. Stretching about 10 feet in length, this expansive scene depicts idyllic pond life, where koi fish swim in the water, turtles bask in the sun, birds hide and call out from among the mallow and cane at the water margin, all the while frogs, dragonflies, and the other smaller denizens of this world go about their quiet, sometimes secretive, lives.
